Hero Arts Celebration

Had a fun time at my favorite store. Jen had make and takes and lots of new Hero Arts stamps to choose from. I have a lovely new flower background stamp and some cute polka dotted flowers to play with. Brought home my new catalog for future shopping sprees.

Fun day with a friend!

Yesterday I spent the day in Henrietta, NY with my friend, Susie. We went to my favorite stamping store, Utopia Stamp and Craft.

Jen always has some of the newest Hero Arts and Penny Black stamps and is always willing to order anything she doesn't have.
I picked up a couple of Hero Arts background stamps that I have been NEEDING and a Christmas Penny Black set with my favorite critters. I 'm sooo looking forward to getting my pinkies inky.

new entry

I just completed a second Halloween card, this one for my son and as it qualifies for the Caardvarks and Penny Black challenge of Inside and Out, I'll be posting it there too.

Love weekends!

I just wanted to thank Kathy for inviting me to the Penny Circle group on Flickr. Looks like a great group!!
I'm still working on a couple of Halloween cards today, but think they'll have to be emailed rather than snail mail at this point. Have a great weekend!

I added some of my favorite blogs today. I'm sure there will be more as I learn what I'm doing!

My new blog!

I finally took the time to start a blog!! They certainly make it easy enough. I wanted to enter a Caardvarks challenge and didn't have a URL, so here I am.
Here is my entry for the newest challenge with Penny Black. I used the adorable Spooky clear stamp set, some SU and Copic markers and chalk for coloring. Papers are from Basic Grey Eerie Martha Stewart, Debbie Mumm, and DCWV. Bats were punched with MS border punch, and kitty, pumpkins and bats were blinged up with MS glitter.
This is the inside of the card.

Thanks for looking.
